Nokia Lumia 710 (T-Mobile) video tour

MobileBurn.com – The Nokia Lumia 710 for T-Mobile is the first Lumia smartphone to arrive in the US That means it is the first Windows Phone powered Nokia to hit the States as well. As much as we would have liked to have seen the higher-end Lumia 800 come first, there is a bit to like about the Lumia 710, including its fast performace, decent camera, and rock-bottom price. The 710’s weak points are in its LCD display, which is not as good as the AMOLED options from the competition, and the lower quality feel of the materials used in its construction. The Lumia 710 will be available from T-Mobile on January 11 for .99 on-contract. More info: www.mobileburn.com

As a 3d Stereoscopic research project. ElectricTV took Sprint’s HTC EVO 3d smartphone camera with its glasses-free 3d video display screen to the Rosebowl flea market. We did a little shopping, 3d shooting and showed this new 3d tech to people to see their first time reactions and options about it. If you haven’t had a chance yet to see glasses-free 3d, add it to your list on things to do! You can also see this 3d camera phone in action at any sprint store. This video was recorded in 3d with the Sprint HTC 3d video camera phone. A couple of the interviews were recorded with a 2d iPhone. And thanks to the nice people who appeared in this 3d video. Tech Talk – iPod as a Mic – H1 Zoom Wind Test + Mini DSLR Camera Tripod? Mic Handle

This episode of tech talk features a little bit of everything First off, I wanted to share this cool mini tripod that shipped out free with one of my camera bags. The mini table tripod is made of plastic but still has a sturdy design. If it was made out of aluminum, it’d be perfect!! But it’s still a nice little piece of gear to have in the bag. It is able to support my DSLR camera pretty well! (Though it may not be designed for that much weight) It’s also a great handle for my Zoom H1 !! The mini tripod is made by a few companies, the most familiar is Vivitar. More info available here: 3″ Mini Digital Camera Tripod www.amazon.com I was impressed with how well the windscreen did, it was a windy day! The audio quality of the Zoom h1 was nice, though I think I had my input levels slightly too high as the audio peaked in a few places during my dialogue. If you listen closely, it sounds like there is a ‘whistling’ noise as the wind blows created by the windmuff… Interesting. And I’m still getting use to how ’stereo’ the mic pick up is. Tilting the mic just slightly and the audio moves from center to left or right. The ipod audio was surprisingly good! Though placing it in a pocket, you can hear the rustling of the clothes. But it wouldn’t make too bad of a mic. …backup, last resort mic. :) Zoom H1 www.amazon.com ZoomH1 Wind Screen – Furry Head www.amazon.com Thanks for watchinng!
