iPhone 4S Vs. iPhone 4 Camera Test / 720p / Split Screen

Today, we’re going to take a look at how the iPhone 4S matches up with the iPhone 4 in a series of videos. This video is being uploaded in its raw and unedited format straight to YouTube. This video features a split of the center 50% from each camera. The iPhone 4 is on the left while the iPhone 4S is on the right. Here are some facts about this video: Source —————————– Format: iPhone 4: H.264 iPhone 4s: H.264 Resolution: iPhone 4: 1280 x 720 iPhone 4S: 1920 x 1080 Audio: iPhone 4: AAC, 44100 Hz, Mono iPhone 4S: AAC, 44100 Hz, Mono FPS: iPhone 4: 27.62 iPhone 4S: 27.91 File Size: iPhone 4: 375.7 MB iPhone 4S: 855.8 MB Data Rate: iPhone 4: 10.53 Mbit/s iPhone 4S: 23.96 Mbit/s Note(s): The iPhone 4 appears to do less depth of field during filming than the iPhone 4S. Both the iPhone 4 and 4S require manual focus adjustments by the person taking the video as the subject moves closer or further away. No adjustments were made during the shooting of this video. Audio on the iPhone 4 appears to be noticeably more muffled than that of the 4S. Due in part to a lower video resolution, the iPhone 4 shot video at a data rate that is below half of the iPhone 4S. This means you’ll need double the available storage space on the phone when shooting video on the 4S. The iPhone 4S includes a more dramatic built-in image stabilization feature. You’ll probably notice a clear difference between the two videos, even though they were both held in the same hand. iPhone 4: www

Tech Talk – iPod as a Mic – H1 Zoom Wind Test + Mini DSLR Camera Tripod? Mic Handle

This episode of tech talk features a little bit of everything First off, I wanted to share this cool mini tripod that shipped out free with one of my camera bags. The mini table tripod is made of plastic but still has a sturdy design. If it was made out of aluminum, it’d be perfect!! But it’s still a nice little piece of gear to have in the bag. It is able to support my DSLR camera pretty well! (Though it may not be designed for that much weight) It’s also a great handle for my Zoom H1 !! The mini tripod is made by a few companies, the most familiar is Vivitar. More info available here: 3″ Mini Digital Camera Tripod www.amazon.com I was impressed with how well the windscreen did, it was a windy day! The audio quality of the Zoom h1 was nice, though I think I had my input levels slightly too high as the audio peaked in a few places during my dialogue. If you listen closely, it sounds like there is a ‘whistling’ noise as the wind blows created by the windmuff… Interesting. And I’m still getting use to how ’stereo’ the mic pick up is. Tilting the mic just slightly and the audio moves from center to left or right. The ipod audio was surprisingly good! Though placing it in a pocket, you can hear the rustling of the clothes. But it wouldn’t make too bad of a mic. …backup, last resort mic. :) Zoom H1 www.amazon.com ZoomH1 Wind Screen – Furry Head www.amazon.com Thanks for watchinng! This is a demonstration of Canon’s new EOS Rebel T3i movie digital zoom feature in 1080p. I have also recorded the entire video with the on-board microphone. This video Was rendered with the audio at a sample rate of 48000 Hz in an attempt to preserve its quality. This is my first episode of Krotoflik and there will be many more to come. I hope to crank out at least One episode a week if not more. Covering more on the T3i’s abilities, DIY tutorials, short movies, fake commercials, random made-up music videos, and hopefully this summer I will be able to upload a full movie I plan on shooting.
