i think im gonna start saving up for one, right now i have a HP digital camera, i bought it way back in 2004 and it eats up batteries like crazy, i can take pictures for about 10 minutes with it before it dies. some things i would like are a timer and good battery life. i just need some ideas!
i forgot, id like a fast shutter speed too, right now mine takes forever to take a picture!!

im considering buying the blue one
i have a few questions:
how many pics can it hold?
does the video have sound?
does it come with a charger/batteries?
will i really need a memory card?
if so what size and how much will it be?

any additional info about the camere is appreciate!!!

This is a bit late, but a few weeks ago I tried to turn on my flip camera, and the screen didn’t work. it’s not just black- it’s a weird mix of black and colored pixels, and looks almost cracked, even though the screen itself is in perfect shape. it’s really weird o.o
I tried the 60 second and 48 hour resets, but now it’s even worse; the camera won’t turn on unless it’s plugged into the computer. yes, I’ve changed the batteries >.<
Please help :/ I didn’t damage the video camera or drop it or anything, so I have no idea how this happened
I’ve looked at the flip FAQ and nothing worked. I don’t have an ultra so I can’t try that one reset with the button under the batteries :/

I have the envy 3, I was wondering if you can take a video, more than 30 seconds ( for save ) and then import it onto the computer in windows movie maker, with the import wire. (charger to phone that plugs in the computer ) I wan’t to do this because I have a kodak camera and I have to constantly change its batteries and I ran out. I know how to send to an email and save it but that’s less than 30 seconds and it doesn’t let me import to windows movie maker. thanks!

When I bought my AC adapter, it didn’t come with an adapter. The Vivitar webpage didn’t have any AC adapters for sale. I’ve tried numerous online shops and they don’t have AC adapters for this camera for sale. In fact, the only things I see are batteries and battery rechargers. I need constant power so that I can plug in and send video messages to my family back at home–and being plugged in and confined to an area isn’t really a concern of mine.

Any ideas?

my friend was video taping a performance on my camera and it suddenly shut down. So she thought the batteries were dead so she tried putting it back on and it came back on but…all the pictures taken from months ago as well as those that were taken at that time were gone as it COMPLETELY deleted from the memory :S what’s the cause of it??????? please please please help :S
