I have a video camera and I am using at as webcam it has a built in microphone but I can't get the mc to work?
I have video camera i am using as a webcam and the camera has a built in microphone but it doesn’t work(the mic) it is plugged in through USB.
I am using yahoo messenger
If you are using the webcam /mic on msn, then msn has a habit of default selecting the wrong device for the mic.
In msn click tools>webcam settings and set it up. (it may be in audio/video setup)
in the mic section select the correct device in the drop down
set the cam to "dial up" settings to keep good speed.
You may have to open the cam using the cam software and select the cam settings to dial up.
a video camera is ideal for webcamming as it has sophisticated optical lens so the picture is bright and clear. Therefore you dont need heaps of pixels. So set it lower for fast speed.
